How Many Leads do You Need to Make Sales Online?

Many people have asked me how many leads they need to make a sale online.  Everyone is so caught up in generating traffic and they want to know the ratios and averages when it comes to converting leads to sales.  I say that it doesn’t matter because statistics like that are based on traffic generation strategies (like PPC) where you haven’t developed a relationship yet; therefore, you are playing a numbers game which really isn’t necessary.

Fact is, the numbers do not matter if you take the time out to brand yourself, establish your credibility, and build a relationship with your leads.  You must write articles, create videos, give people something of value for free, and tell your story in order to attract the right type of traffic to your site.  Then, once people start to opt-in to your list, you must be able to create a relationship with them faster and stronger than your competitors and I guarantee you that your sales will go up.
